I have always had a strong passion for art, design and the creative process…

In 2013 I turned that love into a career in Interior Architecture with a BFA degree from California State University Long Beach. The 5 year program focuses on the conceptual development of each project in order to design with a clear direction and strong sense of purpose. In parallel I expanded my skills in model building, furniture making and business management.

In 2020 I decided to further my studies by moving to Florence, Italy in order to attend the Florence Institute of Design International and study furniture design. The post graduate program focuses on learning from the rich historical context of Italian art & design as well as from a network of contemporary Italian designers. The curriculum encourages students to develop their own approach to furniture solutions while gaining a technical understanding of various furniture manufacturing processes.

To me design isn't just about creating something beautiful. It is about discovering new solutions to old problems. Its about finding the right balance between the needs of the client and the appropriate experience for the user. It is a way to communicate with people without using words by creating interior environments that inspire and evoke positive emotional responses from all who experience them.  My work reflects my passion for design as I focus each project on integrating technical knowledge with creative solutions in order to enhance life in the built environment.
