Restaurant by RIOS & Winsome

Winsome Cafe is located in the central plaza of Playa District, LA’s newly blooming tech hub. It is a sister location to the Echo Park Winsome restaurant by entrepreneurs Marc Rose and Med Abrous. The location at Playa District provides a casual, comfortable dining experience to tenants and visitors alike, featuring a menu full of California contemporary plates. The goal in designing the interior was to create an environment that was a beacon of light within the larger campus. Sunny yellows and accents of warm jewel tones celebrate the surrounding California landscape and year-round summer weather. Much like the other amenity spaces at Playa District, the threshold between interior and exterior is completely flexible allowing for the restaurant atmosphere to seamlessly blend from inside the dining room to the exterior terrace.

This isn’t the first restaurant for owners, Marc Rose and Med Abrous. Their other successful restaurants include Genghis Cohen and the Spare Room both located in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Their goal with Winsome is to cater to the casual crowds of the Playa District office park offering an eclectic and contemporary dishes for breakfast and lunch.
